Because the site drops away on three sides and sits above wooded terrain, the architecture takes advantage of the natural surroundings. The house’s massing, floor plan, and window placements were all strategically configured to provide privacy, orient toward the ravine and wooded setting, block visual intrusion from neighboring properties, and organise movement from front to back of the lot.
